
Suitable for absolute beginners as well as established yogis. Hatha Yoga focuses on removing the duality from the body/mind, working with breath and gravity to mindfully move into and out of the poses. A usual class will included forward bending, backward bending, lateral movements, twists, balances inversions (such as downward facing dog) and relaxation. Working with the body rather than against it you can expect to feel more centred, more aligned with the breath and the body and have a sense of ease in your being.
Lisa’s training supports her understanding of anatomy and therefore safety is one of her main priorities. She works with the different body systems, such as the fluid body, the organ body or the muscular body to help the poses unfold from the inside out.
Some of the benefits of yoga are increased strength, flexibility, diaphragmatic breathing, and an understanding of the fluctuations of the mind.
